Job description
SPIE Nigeria Limited is currently looking for an Electrical Foreman to join its work force in Nigeria.
Key Words :
- Maintenance / Electrical / Foreman / FPSO / SAP
- Planning / Coordination / Meeting / reporting
Specific professional knowledge: CMIMS : SAP/R3
Electrical Specific:
- HV & LV power distribution and control networks, HV & LV motor drives and Alternators, Inverters, high voltage cells, variable speed units, Lighting networks, switchgear, etc.
Context and missions :
- Rotation Status.
- Position Offshore on the FPSO.
- He is responsible for maintenance operations within his field of competence.
- He guarantees a good level of availability of the equipment on production SITE.
- He plays a predominant role in the transfer of skills to personnel undergoing training and development by mentoring on SITE.
Main activities:
- Respect and apply QHSSE rules and procedures
- In his discipline, he/she is in charge to :
- Organize and perform on site the maintenance operations which are placed under his responsibility.
- Assist the Preparation / planning team by giving any
technical support for preparation of the jobs in his
discipline. - Manage interventions and prepare the technical reports related to the field.
- Is responsible of the specific tools of his team. (quantity and availability)
- Take in charge the systems / equipment under his/her responsibility in case of breakdown until correct operation status.
- Identify recurrent corrective maintenance interventions, analyze them and suggest improvements.
Specific activities:
- Ensure that the transfer of knowledge by mentoring occurs
properly within his teams, and actively participates in the OJT /
assessment program. - Identify any recurring problems related to the availability or
quality of spare parts. - Keep a critical eye on current preventive maintenance programs
and, if need be, suggest improvements.
Can be part of Emergency Response Team.
- Organize the site rotational assignment.
Profile
Profile :
- The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:
- Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent.
- 6 to 10 years’ experience in the field of maintenance on oil and gas production installations.
- A basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations.
- Specific professional knowledge: CMIMS : SAP/R3
Electrical Specific:
