Job description

 

  • To supervise in the installations the normal running of the equipment whether onshore or offshore
  • To Initiate and follows-up the necessary checks when deviations appear on the daily reported parameters.
  • To participate to the execution of level one maintenance and minor repairs on production equipment under the
    Production Supervisor responsibility
  • Perform the routine operations as per validated Routine Job Plan
  • Carry out the process isolation & de-isolations of equipment as approved in the plan.
  • To perform the operating parameters of the production and utility process’s/equipment.
  • To inform/update Production Mgt of any abnormal operating conditions/situations and perform a daily shift report.
  • To supervise the coordination of the work permits execution on site.
  • To ensure the tuning and optimization of the production function and propose update of the obsolete procedures
  • To initiate and follow up the necessary checks when deviations are reported.
  • To advise the Production Mgt of any potential hazardous situation or changes to operating conditions and implements
    any actions necessary to maintain safe continuous hydrocarbon production.
  • To carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the Production Mgt from time to time, and within the limits of his
    competence and ability.
  • To perform a hand over at each day/night shift and end of rotation.
  • More specifically during offshore commissioning:
    • to assist the commissioning team in preparing the commissioning operating tests and equipment performance
      checks
    • to assist the production team in preparing the start-up phase
  • Perform the 1st level of maintenance as per COMPANY's requirements
  • Participates to PID’s & production documentation updates
  • Keeps a critical eye on installations and, if need be, suggests improvements,
  • Warns support teams of any recurring problems related to the availability and suggests improvements and/or modifications.

Profile

The holder of this position must have the following qualifications:
- A-levels or High School Certificate.
- 5 years of general industrial maintenance, with 2 years assignment in the oil/gas industry,
- Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation disciplines and associated works
- Computer literacy is required
- Ability to work offshore under the climatic conditions of the site,
- Ability to work in a multinational team. Ability to work in a service relationship with easy oral communication
- Experience in CMMS (SAP/R3) and Stock Tool systems (skilled user level),
- Working language: English
