SPIE ENERGY DANMARK APS as an international subsidiary of SPIE group specializing in the Energy Sector currently have fantastic opportunities for experienced people to join Financial Team in Denmark.
SPIE ENERGY DANMARK APS is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance division in Esbjerg.
MISSIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
General accounting: You are responsible for:
- The complete accounting of SPIE Energy Danmark ApS (suppliers, receivables, bank reconciliations, non-current asset, non-current liabilities, expense claims, …),
- Treasury (initiating bank payments, having the links with the banks, …),
- Follow up, reconciliation and balance sheets analysis,
- Monthly accounting closing (provision to evaluate with operations),
- Yearly accounting closing and annual accounts preparation.
Taxes: Being in charge to prepare, complete, review and remit : VAT declaration, Tax return and other duties specific to Denmark.
Reporting: Managing the entire monthly accounting reporting process:
- One management package for consolidation team,
- Cash reporting,
- Collaboration with HR Department for reporting standards.
You will be also responsible for :
- Preparing information for external auditors,
- Initiating and managing financial and accounting software IFS used by SPIE,
- Working in proximity with the financial controller.

Profile
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accountancy,
- Previous experience with ERP software, ideally IFS Software,
- More than 7 years experience as a senior accountant generalist.
Required skills :
- You have a thorough command of the accounting and tax rules,
- You are accurate and like to work in a structured way,
- You communicate fluently at different levels,
- You have excellent people management skills,
- Previous experience in industrial projects is a plus.
