Job description

SPIE Oil & Gas Services Indonesia is currently looking for Wellsite Geologist.

Your main duties are:  

  • As a single point of contact between Exploration team and Drilling team during drilling operations.
  • Monitoring formation evaluations program with massive communication to Wellsite Geologist on rig site.
  • Preparing Geological Well Program and presenting the materials during Pres-pud meeting to drilling contractors.
  • Participating on procurement process, especially for drilling and formation evaluation contractors.
  • Producing flow chart for coring protocol and formation evaluations program (ie. Mud logging, LWD/MWD, Wireline logging, Bio stratigraphy, core analysis).
  • Managing all data relating to Geological data and formation evaluation from drilling operations.
  • Responsible for daily geological report to update G&G team during drilling operations.
  • Producing final well report, including composite log.

Profile

We are looking for candidate with:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Geological Engineering.
  • More than 10 years of experience as Wellsite & Operations Geologist.
  • Can join immediately.
