Job description

Job Purpose:

This position is a unique opportunity to Accountable and responsible for safe cleaning of equipment/deck space using High Power Hydro Jetting Machine either at washing bay or in-situ.

 

Your main duties will be to: -

 

·         Familiar with the use of Hydro jetting Equipment for water application

·         Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a member of a team.

·         Provide feedback about the effectiveness of the implemented corrective and preventive measures

·         Reports all Near Misses, Incidents and Accidents during operation

·         Working in accordance with the findings of risk assessments, e.g., using the appropriate control measures.

·         Attending training as identified by risk control action plan.

·         The prompt reporting of deficiencies in risk control measures, including those arising from changes in working conditions, staffing levels and change in equipment condition.

·         Works with the complexities of a multi-cultural and multi-national environment

Profile

Ideally you will have Minimum Higher Secondary School Education (OND / ONC or equivalent) with minimum of 5 years work experience operating of Ultra-high pressure water jetting Equipment, Lancing machine, Automatic Bundle cleaning Equipment, etc. Minimum 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas environment, and plant Shutdowns.

 

Hold a valid certificate of competence, issued by an internationally recognized body as a Hydrojetter or attended extensive Training for Hydro jetting operations.

 

Basic knowledge on how to operate Ultrasonic Filter cleaning machine

Familiarity and awareness on the risk hazards related in handling high pressure medium

Familiarity and awareness on the proper PPE’s suitable during operation.

 

Fluency in English (written and spoken).
